Balby Community Arts (BCA) is made up of local residents commited to creating events and opportunities for people to experience art and culture right on their doorstep in Balby.

In Phase One of Right Up Our Street, the Balby team was led by Art Supporter and visual artist Kate Sully and now the team continue the hard work to transform places, create opportunities to learn and develop creative skills and to entertain families and adults alike.

In 2017 the activity has included;

Balby by the Sea- a project which transforms the Woodfield Club into a seaside retreat for the day. With music, circus and theatre performance, free fun and games, arts and crafts and much more.

Balby Skillshare- A weekly group at Balby Community Library all about sharing and learning practical skills in a variety of crafts.

Read to Write- Balby- Following on from the success of the model in Mexborough, local poet Ian Parks leads a group at the library in reading and writing poetry.

Our community groups are always looking for new members- if you would like to be part of the movement in Balby you can email to find out how.
