As Project Director for Right Up Our Street, I oversee the delivery of the whole programme, ensuring that we are meeting the requirements sent out for us by Arts Council England, as well as the needs and interests of the communities in Doncaster.
We working closely with a team of community associates and artists, who not only help shape the Right Up Our Street programme, but also deliver large elements of it as well. If you'd like to know more or would like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you!
I'm able to bring a raft of experience to the programme having worked for a number of organisations in the North of England including: Great North Run Culture, as programme manager for the GNRMillion ; Arts Council England, working within the development team supporting NPOs and individual artists ; Creative Partnerships and Sunderland University, working on the flagship creative learning programme, as programme lead and creative associate within the Centre for Creativity and Learning (Durham & Sunderland).
I'm very proud to be working with the Right Up Our Street team, on a rage of new and exciting creative programmes, specifically our festival of Art and Performance DNweekeND, within the area of South Yorkshire that I live and grew up in.
