STORM COMING is a large-scale audiovisual installation that is inspired by The Tempest. It recreates the thrill and excitement of watching a storm as it moves from dark and brooding murmurs to booming explosions of light. The viewer is swept up in the swirling of light and sound: the rumbling of the approaching storm, the terrible thrill as it crashes around them and the relief at its passing.
STORM COMING is a dynamic audio visual installation that uses 20 light cubes synchronised to a recording of a passing storm. The lights respond to each nuance – gently flickering with the approaching rain, flashing with each crash and boom – to create an immersive experience akin to being outside in a storm.
