FLUID/ITY R&D Project
As part of our Social Connections R&D Project, we are working together with Bipolar Abdul and FLUID/ITY to share the work of the collective with the wider community and showcase their artistry and individual inspirations.
The project aims to support FLUID/ITY to expand into a wider community space, taking drag to new heights and reach new communities, exploring gender fluidity, gender roles and stereotypes.
They hope to create a space to connect with the wider Doncaster LGBTQIA+ community.
FLUID/ITY have created three videos - an introduction to FLUID/ITY, a video where you can Meet the Queens of FLUID/ITY and also a Q&A where you can learn more about FLUID/ITY’s Queens and their thoughts on the questions you submitted.
You can watch both of these below.
Bipolar Abdul is the co-founder of FLUID/ITY, a drag family and monthly LGBTQIA+ club night in Doncaster.
