Right Up Our Street 〰️ 10 Year Anniversary 〰️ Nabeela Khan's Craft Course 〰️ 2021 〰️

In collaboration with the talented Nabeela Khan, we ran a Creative Craft Course for the women of Doncaster every week starting May the 19th 2021, finishing on the 14th of July 2021.

Throughout the two months Nabeela has led regular sessions, teaching the women how to create several different crafts. Creative crafts such as hand stitched coin purses, watercolour painting, pin cushions, plus much more! Take a look below at some of the beautiful outcomes.

Nabeela previously also ran a weaving workshop, you can see the weaves the women made here.

“It was the first time I have done a online course like this, but feel that it worked really well. In fact the students were so eager and worked so fast that more crafts were included into the last sessions. The group connected really well and shared many stories and I learnt a lot from that. These sessions are really not just about learning a skill but in these COVID times they are about making social connections, friends, sharing problems, giving advice, a shoulder to cry on , and feeling like you belong!”
