Young Muslimahs

We are a group of young women aged 12+, who come together to learn and use that learning to make a difference! Not only to empower ourselves to reach our full potential, but to help others in our community and around the world.

“When we launched the Young Muslimahs 10 years ago, I dreamed & hoped it would become all it has today. That one day, these young girls would want to continue to run the group for the younger generations with the same vision we had. Today, this is happening….those 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 year olds are running the group! Watching them grow into young adults, has been an honour & privilege. They are young women with confidence, superb skills & abilities, kind-hearts, determination and most importantly faith!

Young Muslimahs has been with no doubt one of the most important things in my life. It’s my 2nd family. And over the years, they have always filled me with hope and inspired me to keep going. I have gained so much from working with the Young Muslimahs, and hope to continue in doing so.

So now the news, I am stepping down from being chairperson and we have some new young women who will be taking on this role. I am extremely pleased to announce, Humaira & Roomana are the new co-chairs of the Young Muslimahs  I have no doubt that these 2 young women will lead this group to new & exciting places. They have the support of a wonderful committee & group. Together who make an unstoppable & awesome team.”
